Delphiniums

Today I visited the botanical gardens to see what's bloomed.  It was very hot so I painted very quickly but enjoyed their beauty.

Camp Crystal flowers

This one I did several years ago at Camp Crystal where several artists were painting outdoors.  These were the local flowers.  Someone suggested that I should put some writing in the background behind the flowers.  I didn't want to take away from the crisp delicate flowers.  What do you think?

Here are most of my paintings over the years.  Susan Telford asked for it - I hope it doesn't overload you.  Painting really gives my joy and I'm grateful for getting the chance to learn and grow in it.  Besides it's lots of fun!!!

My Imaginary Trip to Italy

This class I took right before we actually went to Italy and Greece - what perfect timing!  It was a great experience - both the actual trip and this class.  If anyone's interested I take these Imaginary Trips with Laure Ferlita for the teacher.   Please pardon any repetitions, etc.  This learning how to post on a blog is harder than actually painting!

My Imaginary Trip to Greece

Here are some paintings from a watercolor journalling class that I've been taking online and really enjoying.  This one was to Greece.  We were really there last Fall so I used some of my photos for references.  It's great fun and I get to learn SO much!
